Bass Ensemble Sheet Music

April 22, 2018

No orders will be taken  between April 22 and May 30 2018. We apologize for the inconvienience.

It has come to our attention that the first 100 Bass Ensemble USB drives (Vol 1 – 5) manufactured contained various transfer errors that effected the naming as well as visual format of several files (individual parts mainly).  If you bought any of these USB drives before June 20, 2017, (for example at the ISB convention) it is likely your drives contain incorrectly formatted parts or, perhaps even a mislabeled file or two. We have since had the drives remanufactured and scoured the new drives for any transfer errors.  As the errors in the first 100 appear to vary from drive to drive, we are offering the following remedy.  Please send us a photo of the drives/volumes you purchased, as well as your mailing address (inezwyrick at gmail dot com) and we will mail replacement drives to you free of charge. The first shipping date for replacement drives will be July 3rd, 2017.  We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to serving you with Volume 6 in the near future.

  1. This is a landmark library of bass ensembles and a staggering addition to our reportory. Our SU bass ensemble has performed many of these arrangements over the past ten years, and I have used them at conferences for children and college students for even longer. There is something for every occasion and the medium ensures that there is never a lost part. Any edits can also be sent electronically, which is amazing in and of itself. For professionals, there are many challenging works as well. We are currently working on Bartok and Balikirov in the ensemble, which provides both music and technical challenges while allowing us to play music of great composers. Just owning one volume can solve repertory problems for years. Having 5 has allowed me so many choices, it is always possible to put on a good concert. I cannot recommend these more highly.

  2. I am so excited to order some bass ensembles for my high school bass players! Is there an index of the Bass Rocks volumes? I want to order a volume, but I want to know what’s in it first. Thank you!

  3. These Christmas pieces give all your bass players something to do–these work with string bass and bass guitar. They are great for outreach concerts, bass caroling, fund-raisers, anything-you-want-to-do performances. Print out the parts you need and assign them to your players. Advanced players can “play up” to improve their upper register skills also. With 30 different carols, you can create different programs for each performance and not do the same ones next year. Bassist love the chance to show what they can really do as a group.
